Hi, my name is Michal Wurm and I’d like to thank you for reading my blog.

MichalWurm.com is where I post thoughts and advice on smart business, online marketing, web design and social media. The aim is to help you and teach you how to get the most of your online activities, make your website work for you, provide your audience with value, build trust and loyalty and increase your sales.

A little bit about me:

I am the owner and creative director of Digital Arts – New Zealand based web and graphic design studio.

My goal is to help small and medium sized businesses to improve their image, increase sales and strengthen brand awareness by designing professional marketing materials, building websites that work and providing advice on how to successfully leverage internet and social media.

I have been working in the design industry since 1997.  Prior to that, in the pre-internet days (at least the way we know it now), I set up and administered many BBSes (local communication systems) and communication networks. Since then I have designed countless printed materials and created many successful websites for my clients.

Over the time I have had the opportunity and privilege to work with brands like Toyota Motor, Saatchi and Saatchi, McCann Erickson and Mark BBDO.  Since January 2009 I am also the Art Director of Airways magazine.
